The Lead Medical Assistant reports to the Practice Manager/Director of operations under guidance from the Medical Director. Under the general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, coordinates daily activities of Medical Assistants. May need to assist in the development of staff schedules and work assignments to provide for efficient practice operations. Ensures adherence to established standards of safety and quality by medical assistant staff. Provides guidance to support personnel in collaboration with the Practice Manager/ Director of Operations and providers. May routinely perform the duties of Medical Assistant.
