About The Position

Coordinate and oversee daily activities of the clinic and clinical team members to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality clinical care for patients. Supports the goals and objectives of the Company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CMA or RMA certification or LVN or RN license required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Safety and Confidentiality - Follows OSHA regulations and the safety guidelines of the Practice. Follows HIPAA policies and procedures. Respects and maintains patient confidentiality. Use CPR skills when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Other related certifications and licenses will be considered (i.e. RT(R), MLT, CPhT)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the day to day activities of clinical team members engaged in clinical care for patients under the supervision of a Physician or provider.
  • Organize, assign, and communicate duties and tasks to clinical team members for current day.
  • Review the staffing and patient schedule for the next day and organize, assign, and communicate duties and tasks to clinical team members.
  • Establish daily clinical team member work area assignments and request staff from Nurse Coordinator as needed.
  • Monitor daily performance of clinical team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely. Monitor and control overtime.
  • Assist the Nurse Coordinator in performance evaluation of clinical team members.
  • Assist the Nurse Coordinator in conducting orientation and training on clinical policies and procedures.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to clinical team member on office issues or problems.
  • Ensure high quality clinical care for patients by reviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate in collaboration with Nurse Coordinator.
  • Recommend disciplinary action as needed in conjunction with Nurse Coordinator and Practice Manager in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Maintain adequate clinical supplies by monitoring inventory levels/communicating with NC/ PM.
  • Ensure clinical equipment remains in operating condition. Communicates with NC/PM malfunctioning equipment immediately.
  • Ensure clinical policies and procedures are carried out on a daily basis. Identify and recommend policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality, compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure daily documentation (Team Lead Checklist) is transmitted to Nurse Coordinator at end of day.
