This role is ideal for a proven cook who wants to step into a leadership position and play a direct role in setting standards, mentoring teammates, and driving kitchen performance. Lead Line Cook Responsibilities As a Lead Line Cook at Arzola’s, you will serve as the right hand of the Head Chef and a torchbearer for quality, standards, and execution. You’ll be a key leader within the kitchen, responsible for maintaining consistency, guiding the team, and ensuring every plate meets our expectations. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a high-level line cook or lead cook
  • Strong knowledge of professional kitchen equipment and multiple cooking methods
  • Ability to follow and enforce sanitation and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Calm, patient, and composed under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Delivering our promise of Legendary Hospitality through food quality and teamwork
  • Setting up workstations with all required ingredients and equipment to ensure service readiness
  • Leading food preparation schedules and assisting with prep tasks such as chopping, peeling, trimming, and marinating
  • Cooking food according to recipes and standards established by the Head Chef
  • Leading production and service shifts independently or alongside the Head Chef
  • Supervising and supporting kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate order execution
  • Verifying food plating, portioning, presentation, and temperature
  • Training kitchen team members on prep procedures, plating, and execution standards
  • Maintaining strict sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout all kitchen areas
  • Creating prep schedules, tracking inventory, and assisting with food cost control and profitability
