About The Position

Now Hiring: Entry-Level Cook Katie’s is looking for dependable, hardworking team members who want to learn valuable kitchen skills and grow with us! NO EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM! WE’LL TRAIN YOU! Job Overview: In this hands-on role, you’ll help create our handcrafted frozen pizzas from start to finish — mixing sauces and dough, assembling pizzas, and baking them in a wood-fired oven. If you like staying active, working with a team, and want to learn real kitchen skills, we’d love to meet you! You’ll rotate between prep, oven, and assembly stations depending on production needs. You’ll rotate between making bulk batches of sauce and dough, assembling pizzas with sauce and toppings, baking pizzas in our wood-fired oven, and checking each pizza for quality before beginning the freezing process. You’ll also record production info, follow all safety protocols, and work in both warm and cool areas. It’s an active, on-your-feet role, and you may be required to lift items weighing up to 50lbs. Requirements

Reliable people who show up on time, work well with others, and are ready to learn
Comfortable working around hot ovens and in a fast-paced environment
Able to follow written instructions and food safety standards
Willing to help wherever needed
Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
Strong knife skills and working knowledge of a variety of cooking methods and equipment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow directions precisely
Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards
Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, keeping health standards top of mind
Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries as needed
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Stay calm and efficient during high-volume shifts and work collaboratively with the team
