About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead HVAC Tech. Requirements

4+ years of HVAC field experience
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
Self-motivated
Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
Service-oriented
Easy to establish a good rapport with people
Respectful of others and their personal property
Punctual and reliable
Takes pride in work

Responsibilities

Removing old HVAC systems
Installing new HVAC systems
Performing routine maintenance
Training junior team members
Communicating with clients and customers
Ordering and maintaining equipment
Running pipe and duct systems through homes
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
Understanding refrigeration cycles
Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
