About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead HVAC Tech. Requirements

  • 4+ years of HVAC field experience
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
  • Service-oriented
  • Ability to establish a good rapport with people
  • Respectful of others and their personal property
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Takes pride in your work

Responsibilities

  • Removing old HVAC systems
  • Installing new HVAC systems
  • Performing routine maintenance
  • Training junior team members
  • Communicating with clients and customers
  • Ordering and maintaining equipment
  • Running pipe and duct systems through homes
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
  • Understanding refrigeration cycles
  • Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
