Under the general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Unit Coordinator (UC) ensures that patients, their families and guests have an unparalleled experience at Mission Hospital while serving as the face of our Ministry and proactively setting the stage for the patient experience, by professionally and efficiently providing and/or coordinating patient/visitor/guest experience. The UC effectively communicates via a variety of modalities with patients, visitors, and facility staff and plays an integral role in communication across the continuum of care. The UC is responsible for serving as the primary resource person in identifying and facilitating problem resolution for our patients and guests while utilizing independent decision making to manage complex situations while ensuring positive outcomes.
