About The Position

Columbia NW Heating – The Home Depot Service Provider is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic In-Store HVAC Lead Generator to represent our brand inside America’s #1 Home Improvement retailer. You will be the first point of contact for customers exploring home comfort solutions. Your goal is simple: engage shoppers, spark conversations, share helpful information, and schedule in-home consultations with our expert technicians. No selling, pressure, or closing required — just genuine connection and helpful guidance.

Requirements

This role is active and customer-facing. You must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods inside a Home Depot store.
Strong communication and people skills - you are comfortable striking up conversations and engaging diverse audiences.
Participating in frequent conversations in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
Comfortable using a tablet and smartphone to enter customer information and schedule appointments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Be the Face of the Brand: Warmly greet and engage shoppers, representing The Home Depot with professionalism and authenticity.
Set Appointments with Ease: Use our user-friendly mobile app to book in-home consultations for HVAC evaluations—no sales pitches required.
Educate & Inform: Distribute brochures and explain the benefits of our HVAC products and services in a clear, friendly way.
Collect Customer Insights: Capture feedback and share insights that help improve customer experience and engagement.
Collaborate with Teams: Partner with Sales and Service teams to ensure smooth follow-up and high-quality customer interactions.
