About The Position

Overview Job Overview: NexGen and Home Depot, Lowes and Costco work in partnership to provide retail customers with options for Heating, Cooling, and Water Treatment – Replacement, Tune-up, and Maintenance. As a member of the team in the Lead Generator position, you will identify potential customers through open, friendly, and engaging dialogue. The goal is to schedule customers for Heating, Cooling, and Water Treatment service appointments offered by NexGen. Pay: $20 / hr. + commission Hours: 25 - 30 hours part-time, or 30+ hours full-time Must work Wednesday - Sunday schedule Store Locations: San Fernando Santa Clarita Canoga Park What’s In It For Me? Requirements

  • A person who enjoys face to face interaction while being outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage personal emotions when faced with rejection.
  • Present positive and optimistic attitude.
  • Must be a self-starter with a result driven disposition.
  • Active listener able to ask open-ended discovery questions to potential customers.
  • Intuitive ability to measure interest of customers.
  • Must be Detail oriented with good time management skills.
  • Ability to move conversations to a decision and ask for an appointment commitment from potential customers.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for 4-8 hours at a time.
  • Ability to use a smart phone utilizing apps, email and text.
  • Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Present a professional appearance that supports and enhances the company’s business image with Home Depot, Lowes and Costco.
  • Maintain and utilize the HVAC and Water Treatment Kiosk / Display / End Cap within the Home Depot to communicate the benefits of purchasing Heating, Cooling, and Water Treatment products and services from Home Depot, Lowes and Costco.
  • Initiate communication with prospective customers during their shopping experience in the store.
  • Proactively greet customers, engage in informative/investigative conversation, qualify potential purchasers, and schedule a sales appointment for Heating, Cooling, and Water Treatment services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Home Depot, Lowes and Costco store associates and key management personnel by interacting with them while working in the store.
  • Educate and build awareness about the HVAC and Water Treatment Program for Home Depot, Lowes and Costco customers and store employees.
  • Achieve specified program KPIs and goals.
  • Attend required meetings and training courses.
