About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Food Runner / Expeditor. In this key role, you'll play a vital part in our guests' experience by swiftly and precisely ensuring the smooth delivery of delectable orders from the kitchen to their tables, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. Lead and direct food runners during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards. Manage food tickets, monitor cooking times, and prioritize orders for timely delivery. Perform final quality checks on dishes for accuracy, temperature, garnishing, and presentation. Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams regarding order status, special requests, and allergies. Deliver food promptly and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address minor needs. Assist servers with table resets, clearing, and overall service support. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked expediting and service stations. Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service or a similar role, in a luxury setting, is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
