About The Position

Provides technical leadership in the safe and efficient performance of vehicle maintenance at selected repair facilities and carry out a specified amount of repair and maintenance work personally. Knowledge Of The Use And Operation Of All Automotive Equipment And Testing Equipment, Gauges And Tools Normally Associated With The Troubleshooting And Repair Of Hydraulic, Gasoline And Diesel Automotive Equipment. Possession Of A Complete Set Of Hand Tools, Including Metric Sizes. Ability To Work Without Supervision For Extended Time Periods. Must Be Able To Lift And Maneuver Heavy Components. Must Possess Valid Driver'S License. Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements

Currently meets all requirements for a Senior Technician.
Candidate Should Currently Meet All Requuirements For A Sr Level Technician Plus One (1) Year Continuous Experience As A Sr Technician In The Work Center Immediately Prior To Bidding.
Knowledge Of The Use And Operation Of All Automotive Equipment And Testing Equipment, Gauges And Tools Normally Associated With The Troubleshooting And Repair Of Hydraulic, Gasoline And Diesel Automotive Equipment.
Possession Of A Complete Set Of Hand Tools, Including Metric Sizes.
Ability To Work Without Supervision For Extended Time Periods.
Must Be Able To Lift And Maneuver Heavy Components.
Must Possess Valid Driver'S License.
Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
