Position Summary The Lead Facilities Technician has overall responsibility for the day-to-day communications, operations, maintenance, and execution of all contract duties for the site.This position directs the workforce to maximize resources to maintain the HVAC systems as well as the performance of the facilities equipment. This is a full time onsite facilities position with company vehicle.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician
  • Must have HVAC experience including operation and maintenance of chillers, DX, large RTU equipment, chill water systems, fan walls, VFD’s, exhaust fans and DOAS
  • In-depth knowledge of DDC BAS controls systems required
  • Experience in major facilities with state-of-the-art mechanical systems and infrastructure
  • OSHA 10 hour preferred

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnostics
  • Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules and manages program for maintenance, alterations, and repair of facility equipment
  • Manages all budgets and expenditures
  • Responsible for on time delivery of all scheduled tasking to ensure customer relations are maintained at highest level
  • Manages contractual obligations, reports, and responsibilities.
  • Provides updates to customer as required
  • Leads meetings and presentations with DynaTen and Customer staff when necessary
  • Assists with training and development program for operations and maintenance staff
  • Identifies new opportunities and works closely with management to develop proposals for repairs and replacements of existing equipment
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts in the areas of safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, cost reduction, employee engagement, and quality control
  • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
  • Manages all material, tools and parts as needed
