About The Position

Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Policy Analysis and Legislative Advocacy: Analyzing legislation and regulatory issues.
  • Advocating for the company’s regulatory agenda during public hearings and meetings with state legislators and staff.
  • Stakeholder and Community Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community groups, and third-party coalitions.
  • Representing the company on local boards and commissions and acting as the face of the corporation in served communities.
  • Event Coordination and Community Relations: Organizing and managing community events to bridge relationships between the community and elected officials.
  • Promoting the company’s initiatives and addressing constituent concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned: Supporting processes related to Political Action Committee (PAC) activity, internal collaboration, strategy development, leading lobbying activities, negotiations, addressing constituent concerns, and/or grant management.
