What you’ll achieve We’re seeking a strategic and action-oriented leader to join our Corporate Impact team to refine and advance our enterprise-wide environmental approach, with a primary focus on climate action and circular economy. This role also monitors and advises on emerging environmental topics such as water stewardship, biodiversity, and nature-related risks. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage disclosures, engage with customers, and ensure our environmental efforts are credible, compliant, and future-ready. Several subject matter experts on our team will look to you for guidance, expertise and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Sustainability, Science, or other related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in climate strategy, emissions management, circular economy, or broader environmental sustainability.
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in global climate regulations, emissions accounting standards, and circular economy frameworks.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills with a bias toward action and innovation.
  • Experience engaging with customers and external stakeholders and representing corporate positions in public forums and skilled in managing third-party relationships and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Refinement & Integration - Continuously evolve and refine the company’s environmental strategy to reflect emerging science, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory developments. Lead cross-functional working groups to embed climate and circularity targets across business units, products, and operations. Balance trade-offs between climate and circular economy objectives, advising leadership on strategic decisions
  • Climate & Emissions Management - Own the implementation and ongoing refinement of the company’s Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP). Oversee corporate greenhouse gas inventories (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), including methodology, assurance, and disclosure. Approve and contribute to public climate disclosures, including CDP, annual ESG disclosures, and supporting process narratives to help ensure compliance and auditability. Guide product carbon footprint strategy and emissions reduction pathways
  • Circular Economy Leadership - Define and advocate for the company’s position on circularity, including sustainable materials, reuse, and end-of-life strategies. Partner with product teams to identify opportunities to integrate circular economy principles into product design, supply chain, and customer experience.
  • Environmental Regulation & Compliance - Partner with legal teams to track, interpret, and operationalize environmental regulations across global markets. Ensure readiness for evolving regulatory frameworks, including CSRD, CSDDD, and other disclosure requirements
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement - Inform and engage customers on the company’s climate and circularity strategies, initiatives, and progress. Represent the company’s environmental priorities in external stakeholder conversations and sustainability forums, including media and analyst engagements and presenting at events.
  • Government Affairs Collaboration - Partner with Government Affairs teams to educate and align on environmental policy priorities and advocacy positions.
  • Third-Party Engagement & Thought Leadership - Manage relationships with key third-party organizations, including sustainability ratings agencies, NGOs, and industry coalitions. Maintain active participation in relevant working groups and thought leadership platforms
  • Emerging Environmental Topics - Monitor and advise on emerging environmental areas such as water use, biodiversity, nature-based solutions, and ecosystem impacts. Translate emerging trends into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Internal Collaboration - Partner with teams across the enterprise to ensure environmental strategy is embedded in operations, product development, and communications. Support internal messaging, executive briefings, and sustainability content for strategic planning and reporting
