Position Summary The Director of Business Operations will lead a team that supports the Retail Pharmacy organization to deliver their priorities and goals through execution support and enablement. This leader will oversee in-year financial planning, portfolio management, and performance reporting. This leader will also champion change management, process optimization, and foster an agile, innovative culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi-year projects, financial planning, and continuous business operations improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and performance reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Planning & Financial Management Develop and manage multi-year operational and financial plans aligned with organizational goals. Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation. Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Portfolio Management Design and oversee the project intake process to prioritize initiatives based on strategic impact and resource availability. Manage the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring timely execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment. Implement standardized project management methodologies and tools across the organization.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics Establish and maintain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks for leadership and stakeholders. Analyze operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making and organizational performance.
  • Change Management & Process Optimization Lead organizational change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and systems. Develop and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency and consistency across business operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Leadership & Collaboration Lead a team of business operations professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure operational strategies are integrated and executed effectively. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational priorities and performance. Foster a culture of adaptability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the organization.
