Position Summary The Director of Accounting will lead the segment's financial consolidation and reporting processes and oversee cash flow planning and reporting. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, process improvements, and enhanced reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with analytical expertise, strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a complex organization.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Controls the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and other reporting.
  • Oversees the segment's monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate policies and GAAP.
  • Leads planning and forecasting for working capital and cash flow.
  • Collaborates with the business, operations, treasury, and FP&A teams to optimize cash flow and improve liquidity.
  • Delivers financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Establishes, strengthens and maintains accounting policies, procedures, and a strong internal control environment.
  • Drives automation and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicates key financial information and insights to senior leadership.
  • Manages and mentors a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
