Job Summary: Oversee the planning, organization and implementation of multiple and complex digital projects. What You Will Do: Application Engineering Program Management Team at Cat Digital manages project teams comprised of digital resources, marketing resources, business resources, and others tasked with developing and maintaining marketing & digital solutions used by Caterpillar dealers and customers. This position will oversee the planning, organization and implementation of multiple highly complex digital projects. What You Will Do: As a Lead Digital Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling engineering delivery across complex cross-functional project teams Your contributions will include driving transparency, fostering collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement to deliver high-quality capabilities on time and within scope Manage all aspects of a project to ensure the project is implemented, accepted, and accomplished within a set deadline. Plan and monitor project development to ensure that quality standards are achieved. Drive project cadence and delivery, ensuring milestones and dependencies stay on track Model exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement, providing clear updates, decisions, and alignment across cross‑functional teams Drive team accountability, reinforcing commitments, removing blockers, and maintaining focus on outcomes Maintain high organizational discipline, managing backlogs, schedules, risks, and documentation in alignment with PMO standards Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, building strong relationships across business, technical, and partner teams Design, implement, and reinforce delivery processes and standards that improve efficiency, strengthen predictability, and ensure consistent alignment with Application PMO practices across the project. What You Will Have: Program Management: Extensive experience in the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives. Project Management, Control and Reporting: Extensive experience in project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control digital software development projects using appropriate technical resources; creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders and executive leadership team. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience in decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Change Control: Extensive experience in the processes and procedures by which a change is identified, evaluated, approved, monitored, and documented; Ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively. Problem Management: Extensive experience in the processes involved in problem control, error control during software development; ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and bring them to a successful resolution. Consideration for Top Candidates: Extensive program management leadership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment (typically 8+ years). Experience leading and coaching Project Managers (typically 3+ years). Experience delivering complex cross-functional digital projects in matrixed organizations. Proven experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions. Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.
