We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to help fuel our amazing growth and contribute to our people- focused culture. This role will focus on building, managing, and automating our infrastructure platform. You will work in a collaborative work environment to also ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS and GCP environments. Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
• You have a degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• You have direct experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Networking features, such as VPC, Security Groups, Subnets, VPC Peering, etc.
• You have demonstrated experience with C#, .Net, JavaScript, TypeScript & Golang
• You have direct experience with Linux Containers
• You have proven experience with both GitHub and GitLab.
• You have proven experience with CI/CD automation such as Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions. and Argo
• You have direct experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or other logging stacks
• You have direct experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• You advocate for software engineers to make infrastructure easy to understand and use
• You are passionate about creating scalable, well documented systems
• You are a self-starter that can work independently and collaborate with a team

Responsibilities

• You will build, manage, and automate our multi-tenet cloud infrastructure.
• You will ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of our cloud environments.
• You will help manage and enhance our CI/CD and release management process.
• You will support the development and management of our deployment processes.
• You will be responsible for the evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
• You will use and maintain secrets, currently in Hashicorp Vault.
• You will be responsible for implementing monitoring and logging with to track errors across the network.
• You will take ownership of the DevOps budget, including planning and management.
• You will lead planning and execution of DevOps initiatives in coordination with the software engineering team.
• You will represent DevOps within the R&D organization.
