About The Position

Handles inbound sales inquiries via phone and chat to qualify prospects and generate sales opportunities for Ricoh products, solutions, and services. Supports the sales team by delivering qualified, nurtured leads to the top of the sales funnel.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in business development, telemarketing, cold calling, or sales in a high-tech environment.
  • Strong background in prospecting, sales, and marketing.
  • Proven ability to nurture leads and collaborate with sales reps.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to position solutions, including hardware and services.
  • Proficient with sales automation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent phone, prospecting, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with sales teams and become a trusted partner.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable for performance.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
  • Quick learner with active listening skills.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Experience with closed-loop lead tracking preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Eloqua, InsideSales.com a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute targeted campaigns that drive market penetration and territory development.
  • Advise customers on promotional opportunities and new product announcements to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Use advanced probing techniques to identify additional contacts and uncover new product requirements.
  • Understand customer environments and recommend solutions to address business challenges.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities to keep Ricoh top-of-mind with prospects.
  • Partner with sales teams to promote Ricoh initiatives and enhance customer knowledge of products and services.
  • Provide accurate, qualified lead information to support account development and penetration.
  • Maintain frequent communication with sales teams and management regarding lead status.
  • Enter and update customer/prospect data in CRM systems; expand profiles as needed.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge through scheduled training.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to optimize revenue.
  • Stay current on email cadences, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Report weekly on results and activity milestones (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
