The Lead Epic Credentialed Trainer (CT) plays a pivotal leadership role in integrating Epic systems expertise, adult learning principles, and education delivery across the ambulatory health system. This position partners closely with Principal Trainers (PTs) and Credentialed Trainers (CTs) to ensure the effective communication of system updates, dissemination of training content, and support of initiatives tailored to both clinical and non-clinical workflows. Key areas of focus include patient care, scheduling, registration, referrals, reporting, and operational processes. The Lead CT is responsible for conducting onsite training, leading 30-60-90-day follow-ups, and guiding new hire development to ensure consistent competency and system adoption. This role may also provide support for building and modifying Epic scheduling templates to optimize workflows. Serving as a subject matter expert, the Lead CT provides advanced training and support in Epic tools such as reporting, work queues, and referrals, enhancing operational efficiency, patient care, and administrative coordination. By collaborating with training teams, operational leaders, and subject matter experts, this role drives the creation of innovative training solutions, fosters a culture of continuous learning, and champions standardized workflows and documentation practices to maximize Epic system utilization and organizational effectiveness.
