Lead Community Pharmacist
About The Position
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a patient‑focused Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate pharmaceutical care. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive medication management, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes. You'll counsel patients on prescription and over‑the-counter medications, serve as a trusted medication resource for the care team, and support specialty, hospice, and discharge medication services as needed. This position also includes opportunities for immunization delivery, staff mentorship, and helping us grow our retail pharmacy with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, patient safety, and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
- Current Washington State Pharmacy License in good standing.
- 2 years of hospital and/or retail pharmacy and clinical pharmacy preferred.
- Computer experience with pharmacy systems preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
- Certification in immunization administration required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred.
- Computer experience with pharmacy systems preferred.
- 2 years of hospital and/or retail pharmacy and clinical pharmacy preferred.
