About The Position

We are looking for a Content & Community Manager to lead social media, community engagement, and marketing content for our game titles. This role requires someone who understands gaming culture, can create and edit compelling content, and build strong relationships with our fan community. This is a highly independent role, ideal for someone comfortable managing multiple content channels and community platforms in collaboration with the Marketing & PR Manager and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, or community management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to craft scripts for trailers and short-form social content.
  • Experience producing or editing social media videos.
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture and online communities.
  • Experience managing social media accounts professionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing gaming communities, Discord servers, or forums.
  • Experience with livestreams or content creator collaborations.
  • Knowledge of JRPGs or Japanese games.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Editing: Craft, edit, and bring to life marketing content that resonates with fans, including social media posts, promotional clips, and trailer scripts. Ensure all content reflects the brand voice and game messaging.
  • Social Media Management: Manage official social media accounts (Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), plan campaigns around game launches, track engagement metrics, and optimize content strategies.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with fans across Discord, Reddit, and social channels, monitor sentiment, report insights to the marketing team, and support community events or livestreams.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Partner closely with the Marketing & PR Manager, developers, and internal teams to gather assets and ensure cohesive content execution. Coordinate with external creators when needed.
  • Support influencer collaborations (Marketing & PR Manager leads main strategy).
  • Contribute ideas for improving engagement and content effectiveness.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns by providing content and community insights.
  • Create postmortem reports for major campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, audience engagement, and content effectiveness. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
