Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 28 years. Job Description Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Lead Caregiver supports the company’s goal of providing “continuity of care” for our clients. Your standby period is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday but during this time, you are not required to remain at home, provided you are reachable and able to report to the worksite within one hour of being contacted. You will receive compensation for a full 40-hour workweek provided you have maintained availability for 40 hours during that week, regardless of the actual number of hours worked. If you can work any overnight or weekend shifts all hours worked beyond the 40 in a workweek will be compensated at the overtime rate. This role begins immediately and will continue through March 31, 2026. Following that date, it may transition to a traditional caregiver position with scheduled shifts or remain in its current form, depending on organizational needs.
