This position will provide guidance to the Buyers, oversee daily purchasing operations, and improve procurement procedures. This position will also create purchase orders from purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer, modify, perform cost analyses, and close out orders and blanket orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and government regulations.
