About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team working on a transformative application. In this role, you will help shape the future of investment management by translating complex business requirements into functional specifications for an intuitive digital platform that empowers retail clients to manage their investments effectively. You will play a crucial role in modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native solutions hosted on AWS, working at the intersection of business and technology.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in Business Analysis
- 2 years in a Lead role
- Experience working with UI development teams and REST API integrations
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Experience in financial services or investment management
- Understanding of legacy system modernization
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional specifications
- Participate actively in all SCRUM ceremonies
- Lead estimation and planning activities
- Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in JIRA and Confluence
- Analyze existing applications to inform modernization strategies
- Bridge communication between technical and business teams
