About The Position

The Lead BIM Application Specialist uses technical knowledge of BIM software (BIM360/ACC/Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD) to assist the project teams and firm by ensuring consistent implementation and use of BIM processes and software. The BIM Application Specialist works as part of a support team providing daily model management, administration, and maintenance. Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • 11+ years relevant working experience.
  • Possesses working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage
  • Knowledge of Revit family management, shared parameters and tag families is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D preferred.
  • Familiarity with visual programming (Dynamo).
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam in relationship to Revit PDF deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Create initial Revit project setup and prepares for the production team
  • Create and update BIM/Revit technical documentation
  • Assistance with maintaining Revit templates and UNIFI content libraries.
  • Provide support model management, administration, and maintenance
  • Oversee BIM model integration with other design and construction management software.
  • Facilitate collaboration and clash detection for a large, multi-discipline project team across multiple companies, organizing/leading BIM coordination meetings.
  • Works with vendors of all disciplines on content download and updates to the office standards
  • Provides BIM/Revit project kick-off information
  • Works as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results
