This position involves working directly in a residential therapeutic setting with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder who require behavior stabilization. Staff are required to constantly engage with and supervise individuals, implementing programs specific to individual needs based on their IP, including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and highly structured Behavior Support Plans. Crisis intervention for issues like self-injury, aggression, and disruptive behavior is likely. The Lead Behavioral Technician will take charge on each shift to ensure the treatment team operates smoothly and all daily requirements are met. An on-call rotation is required for this role.
