On Tap, located at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites in Milwaukee, is looking for a talented person to join our team as our Lead Bartender. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry. This position is 30-39 hours per week. As the Lead Bartender on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include: Oversee bartenders in their day-to-day responsibilities. Provide initial training for new bartenders and lead ongoing training for all Bartenders when required. Effectively complete opening and closing duties as needed. Complete all of the functions of a Bartender. Handle service recovery issues with a friendly and calm attitude. Provide leadership and mentoring to Bartenders regularly. Any other additional duties as assigned by management. The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities: Previous experience in a similar job role. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dependability and regular attendance. Ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse.
