About The Position
RemotelyHR is hiring on behalf of Coffee Dose Coffee Dose- Dose in a Box is hunting for an experienced Lead Barista to join our rapidly growing brand. Specialty coffee and restaurant experience is a requirement! Dose in a Box is not your grandma's coffee shop. Though we offer the same quality of drinks as a third-wave cafe, we make it a fun and unforgettable experience. Coffee Dose is a safe place for the coffee connoisseur, the instagrammer, and the basic btch. The Lead Barista is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support to the team, as well as making schedules, enforcing procedures, making sure the cafe is running efficiently, being the point of contact between staff & upper management, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Our ideal candidate: Does not think cussing is unprofessional (our coffee is filtered, we are not) Embraces the vision and culture of Coffee Dose and Dose in a Box Not afraid to do any job. Ensures that store is operating at or above standards Works closely with the teams and general manager to ensure daily upkeep, streamlined communication, and excellent customer service Can step in as acting manager when needed Has strong leadership skills, is as good at taking direction as they are giving direction, and can think quickly on their feet Detail oriented Strong customer service skills
Requirements
- Previous coffee experience
- Experience as a lead / supervisor
- Ability to work in high-pressure + fast-paced environments
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Effective problem solving/decision making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Ensuring staff members are taking breaks
- Assisting customers with complaints or concerns
- Assisting with ordering
- Working with the store manager for day-to-day operations
- Ensuring quality drinks and products are being served
- Perform regular barista duties, including register and customer service
- Perform other duties, as assigned
