About The Position

In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing the growth and operational excellence of Vizient’s Capital Equipment Solutions (CES). You will be responsible for leading data-driven initiatives, ensuring data integrity across multiple systems, and providing actionable financial and operational insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work independently while serving as a key resource and mentor within the team, and work collaboratively across the organization leveraging strong analytical, financial, and leadership skills to drive value for members and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Ability to manage complex data sets and perform detailed reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and database tools (SQL or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring or guiding team members.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic and independent thinker with a track record of driving measurable results.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in data analytics, financial analysis or capital equipment strategy within healthcare or GPO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data aggregation and validation efforts across Group Buy, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Equipment Planning, Capital Commit, and Capital Spend Insights (CSI) platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and alignment between Booking Reports, PRS, and AP Spend systems to maintain a single source of truth.
  • Provide advanced analytics, performance reporting, and financial modeling to support CES growth initiatives and member value realization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance data accuracy and transparency.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and member-facing deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen in assessing business opportunities, tracking key metrics, and supporting ROI analyses.
  • Act as a strategic thinker who proactively identifies trends, risks, and opportunities within the capital portfolio.
  • Mentor and support analysts in analytical best practices, project execution, and professional development.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
