About The Position

Hourly, Full-Time Lead Advocate Position serving youth and families throughout Philadelphia and Delaware County is available. Lead Advocate must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings. Primary responsibilities of the Lead Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model. Position offers flexible hours, weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
