Under the guidance of Day Coordinator and in direction of the Assistant Director and the Shelter Director; provide supervision, training, and on-going support to shelter advocates; intervene in resident crises; provide guidance and practical support to residential floor and YWCA advocates; complete assigned statistical reports; perform varied technical support and administrative tasks; serve as active member within program and the YWCA as a whole. This role also fulfills advocate direct care functions and serves as a critical link with shelter coordinators and director to inform and problem solve to continuously improve services to victims of domestic violence. This position includes a 90-day evaluation period, after which performance will be reviewed. Schedule: 24 hours/week, Friday 7am-1pm, Saturday-Sunday 7am-4pm.
