About The Position

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Lead Administrative Assistant through 02/20/2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Provide general administrative support for a large global team, which may include coordinating meetings, catering, planning events (including venue reservation, hotel and restaurant reservations, and logistics), ordering office supplies, coordinating office moves and other ad hoc tasks. Provide direct support for two senior leaders with demanding schedules, including managing calendars, and coordinating meetings, communications, town halls, and leadership events Manage complex domestic and international travel logistics, including passports, visas, immunizations, and other requirements, assist team members who face unplanned circumstances while travelling on business, and manage expense reports, including tracking and gathering expense details and maintaining appropriate documentation. Assist with electronic document and information management, including maintaining the team Sharepoint Provide support for visiting team members and executives Provide relief/support to other assistants as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
  • Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while producing high-quality work
  • Proactive problem-solver
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong influencing skills.
  • Capable of building quality relationships with team members
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle confidential and urgent matters with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with various groups and stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office applications, Sharepoint, MS Teams, OneNote, Time and Expense system and OneDrive

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an administrative role within the oil and gas industry
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, SAP, and Workday
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge regarding new systems and processes
