The LCS Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of service projects for major customer accounts. This position partners closely with Project Managers, Data Analysts, technicians, and customers to ensure projects are delivered with accuracy, professionalism, and operational discipline. This is a developmental role ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, technical curiosity, and an interest in moving toward full Project Management responsibilities. This position is to located in the Franklin, Wisconsin office.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, service operations, or technical support.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and readiness to learn internal systems and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow structured processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering services, or packaging industry environments.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Exposure to data tracking, KPI reporting, or service documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in daily project execution, scheduling, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Coordinate project activities across internal teams, including Service, Parts, Technical Support, and Warehouse / logistics.
  • Maintain accurate project files, including SoWs, schedules, checklists, and close-out reports.
  • Track milestones, technician hours, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality execution.
  • Assist with resource scheduling, travel coordination, and readiness checks.
  • Prepare project updates, status summaries, and KPI reports with support from Data Analysts.
  • Communicate with customers regarding schedules, documentation needs, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit and track technical requests, parts inquiries, and internal escalations.
  • Support continuous improvement of SOPs, templates, and project processes.
