Lawn Care Applicator
About The Position
The Lawn Care Applicator position involves working individually or with a crew to provide comprehensive lawn care services to properties on an assigned route. Key tasks include applying fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides using hand and powered equipment for pest and weed control in lawns and ornamentals. Responsibilities also encompass loading and unloading equipment, removing debris from landscape areas, and ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations. The role requires maintaining scheduled appointments, interacting with clients to address concerns, and identifying opportunities to sell additional services through property inspections and evaluations. Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
- At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
- Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
- Friendly and dedicated to great customer service
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently and as part of a crew
- Encourage a positive team atmosphere & willingness to help others
Responsibilities
- Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care services to all properties on assigned route
- Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals
- Unload and load equipment at each property
- Remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area
- Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances
- Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable
- Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine client concerns and existing conditions
- Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients
- Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties
