About The Position

A loving family in Tribeca is seeking a full-time laundress to join their team. The schedule would be a typical Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. Focus will be on doing laundry for the home- two principals, and three children. The family is seeking a local candidate and does not plan to relocate anyone at this time. This is an immediate hire.

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• 5+ years of prior experience as a private high-end housekeeper
• Live locally or within a commutable distance to NYC
• Fluent in English
• Tech savvy
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Proactive
• Comfortable working with young children in the home
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism

Nice To Haves

• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laundry for the home- two principals and three children
• Manage laundry; washing, ironing, handwashing delicates, and coordinating dry cleaning
• Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods
• Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas
