About The Position
A loving family in Tribeca is seeking a full-time driver to join their home. The schedule would be Monday through Friday, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role is focused on driving, with a candidate who has prior experience driving a very private family. The vehicle will be provided. The family has a very modern, stylish dynamic and are not traditional clients. They are seeking someone with a high-end service mindset who is comfortable with tasks such as opening doors, carrying bags, running errands, and maintaining professional, polished communication while also having a relaxed, approachable demeanor, and being warm and engaging with the children. The ideal candidate should balance formality with ease and adapt naturally to the family’s lifestyle. The position is open to career private drivers, as well as driver's with a former military or law enforcement background. The family is seeking a local candidate in the NYC area and is not looking to relocate anyone at this time. This is an immediate hire.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a private driver
- Experience driving children
- Valid and clean driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience or knowledge driving a Maybach is a huge plus
- Prior hospitality background is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform daily driving duties for the principals and the children
- Courtesy to open the doors for the passengers
- Helping load bags, luggage, and packages
- Run local errands for the principals and team as needed
- Communicate with other household staff and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
