About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Laser Cutter Operators for projects located in the Wilson, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Have all PPE, and basic hand tools
- Proficient in solidworks and autocad
- Hands-on experience setting up and running cnc machines/laser cutters
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
Responsibilities
- Create and modify part designs and machine programs using solidworks and autocad
- Set up calibrate and operate the mitsubishi ml3015lvplus laser cutter and other cnc machinery
- Inspect finished parts using calipers micrometers and gauges to ensure they meet blueprint tolerances
- Assist with general shop floor tasks
- Deburring material
- Handling & assembly
- Grind materials as needed
