About The Position
QuikCut, LLC is seeking Laser Operators for both our Columbia City (1st and 2nd shift) and Fort Wayne (1st shift) locations. Our Laser Operators operate and maintain laser cutting machines to produce parts and other components according to specifications. Requirements
- Experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and modify metal and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements.
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
