About The Position

Our client is a globally recognized leader in consulting and advisory services, partnering with some of the world’s largest organizations to solve complex challenges in health, wealth, and workforce strategy. They are seeking a high-performing Large Market Business Developer with deep expertise in benefits consulting and enterprise sales to drive new business and expand strategic relationships across the large and jumbo client space. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on winning and growing relationships with organizations of 5,000+ employees and multi-billion-dollar revenue scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS required)
  • 10+ years of successful sales experience in benefits consulting
  • Proven track record closing large, complex enterprise deals (5,000+ employee or equivalent scale)
  • Strong ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Experience building and executing a structured sales funnel and prospecting strategy
  • Demonstrated success engaging and influencing C-suite executives
  • Deep understanding of large market benefits consulting (health, retirement, HR solutions)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills with measurable results
  • Enterprise-level account acquisition and growth

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of 40–50 large enterprise prospects
  • Drive new business acquisition within complex, high-value accounts
  • Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, RFPs, presentations, negotiations, and close
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior executives
  • Develop strategic pursuit plans to penetrate large and competitive markets
  • Deliver tailored solutions across group health, retirement, and HR consulting services
  • Create compelling proposals that clearly demonstrate value and differentiation
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets
