Laborers/Drivers range from semi-skilled to skilled workers whose duties include, but are not limited to, handling the materials for irrigation, planting, and construction. Laborers/Drivers are generally needed on virtually all types of landscape projects. A laborer/Driver must know how to work efficiently with their hands and with tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. Laborers/Drivers may also work with irrigation materials and small engine machinery. Laborers/Drivers assist in clearing and grubbing, hand grading, digging plant holes, trenching and cleaning trenches, gluing pipe, running wires, back-filling and covering pipe, spreading decomposed granite, keeping sites clear and clean, and performing a variety of other functions when requested.
