About The Position

In this role, you will play a key role in creating a world-class facility! You will perform specialized labor in landscape maintenance and related work including but not limited to plant care, irrigation, landscape lighting, and arbor care. Responsible for maintaining the grounds of the property using hand and power tools and small machinery. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Prior grounds and landscape maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all aspects of the landscaping for clubhouses, and related facilities through planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering.
  • Assists with the day-to-day routine maintenance of grounds, facilities, and systems as directed.
  • Maintains landscape and hardscapes, manages irrigation systems, and prepares grounds and walkways for daily tours and events.
  • Rakes and cleans outdoor areas.
  • Waters lawns, plants and trees utilizing sprinkler and irrigation systems.
  • Applies fertilizing material to lawns, plants, trees, and shrubs outdoors.
  • Manually picks up debris for disposal.
  • Cleans drains and culverts, sweeps roadways and collects litter.
  • Pulls and cuts weeds.
  • Mows grass on lawns and other outdoor areas.
  • Cultivates and hand water trees, shrubs, cacti, and grass areas.
  • Operates small power equipment and performs the following tasks in designated areas of the development project: install and maintain drip irrigation, trees, shrubs, and cacti; maintain tree and plant nurseries, and control minor erosion.
  • Assist in the construction of new landscape areas.
  • Operate light motorized equipment and small utility vehicles in hauling materials and debris.
  • Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing.
  • Works within all types of weather conditions predominately in outdoor settings.
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.
