About The Position

Greenlife Gardens is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead maintenance crews and ensure recurring service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Greenlife Gardens’ quality standards. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role responsible for managing people, productivity, and day-to-day execution across assigned maintenance routes and properties. The ideal candidate is a strong crew leader who understands landscape maintenance, can manage labor hours, uphold quality standards, and communicate clearly with both team members and management.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of landscape maintenance experience, with leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of plant material, landscape maintenance practices and seasonal requirements
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage daily productivity
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Nebraska pesticide applicator’s license, or ability to obtain within a required timeframe
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in English

Nice To Haves

  • Prior foreman or crew lead experience
  • Experience managing recurring maintenance routes
  • Bilingual English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a landscape maintenance crew servicing residential and commercial properties
  • Execute landscape maintenance services including pruning, mulching, edging, weeding, seasonal cleanups, planting, and plant replacements
  • Plan and manage daily routes, schedules, and job priorities
  • Ensure work is completed on time, within budgeted labor hours, and to company quality standards
  • Track labor hours, materials used, and daily production
  • Communicate job progress, issues, and property concerns to management
  • Identify and address quality or efficiency issues proactively
  • Train, coach, and develop crew members on proper techniques, safety, and expectations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite at all times
  • Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and work ethic
  • Operate equipment and tools as needed
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed to support client satisfaction and operational success
