About The Position

Greenlife Gardens is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Assistant Foreman to support the Maintenance Foreman in leading maintenance crews and ensuring recurring service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Greenlife Gardens’ quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced maintenance technician who is ready to grow into a full Foreman position while helping manage daily routes, crew productivity, and jobsite quality.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of landscape maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of plant material, landscape maintenance practices, and seasonal requirements
  • Ability to work with and help lead a crew
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Nebraska pesticide applicator’s license, or ability to obtain within a required timeframe
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in English

Nice To Haves

  • Previous crew lead or assistant foreman experience
  • Experience working on recurring maintenance routes
  • Bilingual English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Support the Maintenance Foreman in leading and managing landscape maintenance crews servicing residential and commercial properties
  • Perform landscape maintenance services including pruning, mulching, edging, weeding, seasonal cleanups, planting, and plant replacements
  • Assist with planning daily routes, schedules, and job priorities
  • Help ensure work is completed on time, within budgeted labor hours, and to company quality standards
  • Track labor hours, materials used, and daily production and report to the Maintenance Foreman
  • Communicate job progress, issues, and property concerns to the Maintenance Foreman
  • Provide leadership and direction to crew members in the Foreman’s absence
  • Train and mentor crew members on proper maintenance techniques and safety practices
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite at all times
  • Operate equipment and tools as needed
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained
  • Coordinate with other departments as directed to support client satisfaction and operational success
