About The Position

Come join our dedicated landscape team, where you’ll help nurture, preserve, and enhance the unique beauty and charm of our world-class resort. As a Landscape Construction Technician with Kohler Hospitality, you’ll be responsible for: Perform daily landscape construction tasks such as hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls, edging), grading, soil preparation, planting, sod installation, and site cleanup to deliver high‑quality finished spaces Safely operate construction equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, compactors, saws, and utility vehicles to support efficient project completion. Maintenance and operation of equipment necessary to perform above tasks which may include but is not limited to: leaf blowers, hand tools, string trimmers, chain saws, skid steers, tractors, pickup trucks, and golf carts. Assist with basic low voltage lighting and irrigation installation support as needed, such as trenching, placing pipe, or helping with minor adjustments under supervision. Support arborist operations, including assisting with tree planting, staking, mulching, structural pruning support, debris handling, and safe work‑zone setup. Execute landscape enhancement projects, including bed construction, tree and shrub installation, and seasonal landscape features that align with Kohler’s design intent. Provide guidance and daily direction to seasonal or project‑based staff to ensure safe practices, efficient workflow, and positive guest interactions. Perform additional duties as assigned to support year‑round landscape operations, including winter snow and ice management. We have full-time opportunities available. The hours are 6:30am-3:30pm weekdays, and may include the occasional weekend.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in landscape construction, hardscape installation, grounds construction, or related outdoor installation work.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including periodic weekends, seasonal project demands, and winter snow removal availability
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Construction, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, compactors, and saws.
