We are hiring a Landscape Construction Estimator / Project Manager to own the front-end of our construction work — from bid, to award, to successful handoff into operations.
This role is critical to our growth. You will:
· Build accurate, profitable estimates
· Support sales and client relationships
· Create clean handoffs to field teams
· Help develop systems, people, and processes
You will report directly to Sales Lead – Luke Joerin.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in landscape, construction, or estimating (preferred)
• Strong math & analytical skills
• Experience with Excel & estimating software (Procore, LMN, Aspire, PlanSwift, Sage, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Organized, detail-driven, and professional
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs
• Build accurate material, labor, and equipment pricing
• Coordinate with vendors & subcontractors
• Ensure overhead, labor burden, and production rates are correct
• Participate in post-bid reviews
• Identify risk, margin, and value engineering opportunities
• Communicate assumptions and scope clearly
• Create organized estimate breakouts
• Transfer scope, pricing, and job intent to operations
• Support smooth job start-up
• Maintain Bid Board and estimating schedules
• Assist in budgeting and job costing (WIP)
• Train and support estimating staff
• Help develop SOPs and estimating standards
