Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University
  • Licensed Landscape Architect in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity
  • 3 yrs. plus demonstrated work experience
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Innovative design skills
  • Sound technical expertise in conceptual design, construction documents and construction observation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent project and client management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation, listening and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of design, graphics, marketing, communication and business development

Responsibilities

  • Supports department leadership
  • Manages landscape architecture projects and client relationships
  • Develops conceptual designs, construction documents and conducts construction observation for projects of varied scope and scale
  • Develops project schedules and budgets
  • Directs and coordinates the work of project team members
  • Manages sub-consultants
  • Coordinates with clients and other consultants
  • Coordinates with local governmental agencies
  • Prepares monthly project billing
  • Manages project A/R
  • Assists with/conducts business development
  • Assists with preparation of contracts
  • Mentors less experienced team members
  • Other duties as assigned
