Manages the land responsibilities within an assigned geographic area with the general supervision and mentoring of a Division Landman or Land Manager. Essential Job Responsibilities: Assists Land Manager with delegated tasks. Negotiates, writes, reviews, and amends agreements (farm out, joint-operating, and participation, surface), conveyances, and other contracts, subject to Vice President, Land approval. Manages various issues with landowners, partners, and third parties. Advises and coordinates with other departments as to development and daily operations of potential producing properties. Investigates and approves title for operation of company assets. Reviews, evaluates, and assimilates newly acquired properties for future operations. Prepares and submits Federal and State drilling permits. Manages archaeological, biological, and surface surveying in furtherance of State and Federal permitting. Supports company’s relationship with Tribal, State, and Federal agencies. Coordinates with subsurface, construction and operations in well site selection. Supervises contract Landmen in the acquisition of leases and agreements from landowners. Reviews and monitors non-operated properties for the company’s assets. Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings. Other Job Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by management.
