Land Administrator/Lease Analyst Location: Corpus Christi, Texas Classification: Exempt Position Type: Full Time, Land Reports to: Director of Land Position Summary: Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining the land records, payment obligations and property schedules. Analyze leases and different agreements for payments and obligations. Assist with landowner relations, transfers of interest, title review, and other land-related tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and organize the land files, property schedules, and payment schedules. Analyze and maintain different agreements including surface use agreements, leases, and right of way agreements to process payments. Analyze title documents for leasehold, surface and mineral ownership. Preparation of schedules and exhibits. Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and/or divestitures. Skilled in computer functions, proficient in creating and generating computer reports related to Lease Records. Provide support to the Land Department for work overflows. COMPETENCIES: Organization skills for both hard and electronic files. Analytical: Collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data. Work experience with the Bureau of Land Management and other State and county agencies. Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively, presents data effectively in spreadsheets, able to read and interpret written information. Verbal Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions. Professionalism: Positive attitude and treats others with respect and consideration. Interpersonal Skills: Able to work with multiple departments to organize and prioritize needs of all, supports team efforts to complete task.
