We are currently looking for a full-time, 3rd shift Lamination Operator to support our Elgin plant. 3rd Shift Hours: 8:45 pm to 5:15 am, Monday - Friday Compensation: $20 - $28/hr DOE

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience as Lamination Operator preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Good communication skills in the English language (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).

Responsibilities

  • Confer with Lamination Operator from previous shift regarding status of laminator operation.
  • Prepare laminator for start-up subject to final approval. Preparation includes, ensuring that glue ratios are precise, cleaning of rollers and machine, to ensure no scratches are present.
  • Complete all forms and reports in written English; complete Quality Control report for each roll of film produced.
  • Report any equipment or material problems to Supervisor immediately for prompt correction of problem.
  • Participate in general clean-up for following shift change.
  • Clean each roll rack before it leaves your work area.
  • Responsible for all In Process Inspection, communicating any possible defects to downstream processes.
  • Report any hazard or safety violations to Print Supervisor.
